Procurement
EXPAVIA provides every activity involved in obtaining the goods and services a client needs to support its daily operations, including sourcing, negotiating terms, purchasing items, receiving and inspecting goods as necessary and keeping records of all the steps in the process..
Direct procurement - we are experienced in obtaining anything that’s required to produce our clients end-product including raw materials, spare parts and components.
Indirect procurement - we are able to act on our clients behalf in purchases of items that are essential for day-to-day operations but don’t directly contribute to our clients bottom line. This can include anything from office supplies and furniture to advertising campaigns, consulting services and equipment maintenance.
Goods procurement - we have experience in procurement of not only physical items, but also items such as aviation related software subscriptions. Our procurement consultants are all experts in good supply chain management practices.
Services procurement - procuring people-based services is one of our strongest points, due to our network of contacts in the aviation industry. Our clients frequently appoint us for services procurement. This includes hiring individual contractors, contingent labour, law firms or even security services.
Outsourcing
EXPAVIA can advise on the procurement / outsourcing conundrum.
Outsourcing involves hiring a 3rd party outside our clients organisation, to perform services that were traditionally performed in-house by the client's own employees and staff. Outsourcing is usually undertaken by clients as part of a series of cost-cutting measures, for which EXPAVIA can provide consultative advise.
Outsourcing internationally can help clients benefit from the differences in labor and production costs among countries. Price dispersion in another country may enable a client to relocate some or all of its operations to another country in order to increase profitability and stay competitive within the aviation industry.
